HOH On The Move

House of Hope is on the Move!

Since the birth of the church on Pentecost, the church has always been on the move. As we look forward to the coming weeks and the return of in-person worship, please join us for additional church events as truly House of Hope is on the move.

Choir School Spring Concert

Sunday, May 16 | 2 p.m.
The HOH Choir School Spring Concert Simple Gifts will be livestreamed on our website. Join us to celebrate the Choir School’s year that included online and in-person rehearsals. Livestream concert here.

Pentecost Sunday
Sunday, May 23
Join us for this special service, for as Henri Nouwen wrote, “Without Pentecost the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus remains imprisoned in history as something to remember, think about, and reflect on. The Spirit of Jesus comes to dwell within us, so that we can become living Christs here and now.” Livestream service here.

Sanctuary Sundays
Sundays, May 23 and May 30
Sign up to join us in the sanctuary from 4-5 p.m. for a time of music, reflection, and prayer. Attendance will be limited to 50 as we test our protocols leading to our June 6 reopening of in-person worship. Learn more here.

June Sermon Series: Unmute/4 Parables for a Post Pandemic Life
Join us for a special sermon series on the Jesus’ parables and wisdom they offer in how to “ummute” our lives as we emerge from the pandemic.

Picnics and Pastors in the Park on Fridays in June
Join us June 4, 11, and 18 from 5–7 p.m. in our HOH park. Bring a blanket, a picnic, as we enjoy the HOH park, playground, and each other’s company.

Sunday, June 6: Reopening!
Plans are underway to safely return to in-person worship and make improvements to our livestreaming. After worship, join us for a time of fellowship, food, and fun. Learn more here and watch for additional details!
