Music is integral to our faith at House of Hope. Sunday mornings include our organs, choirs, and carillon. Our outstanding music program is committed to providing an exceptional musical experience for all. Music enriches our worship, creates community and friendships, and positively affects the way we think.
Under the direction of Choir Director Matthew Culloton, The Motet Choir offers weekly musical enhancement to the church community. The Motet Choir sings the Introit and two anthems during the worship service and collaborates with the Bach Chamber Players of St. Paul on extended choral works three to five times each year.Learn More
Since 1982, Choir School has offered excellence in music education to children. Under the direction of Choir School Director Sofia Ardalan, choristers learn to express themselves through music, sing high-quality repertoire, and grow in friendship and faith. During the program year, special Elizabeth Chapel Organ Recitals and Summer Carillon Recitals feature visiting performers. During July, carillonneurs from around the world present afternoon recitals on the Noyes Carillon. Attendees listen from various outdoor locations and, in inclement weather, from suitable indoor sites.
Established nearly 40 years ago, the resounding music of the House of Hope Handbell Choir has become a familiar and integral part of worship.
