Weddings, Funerals, and Baptisms

Weddings

In a service of Christian marriage, a lifelong commitment is made between two people, publicly witnessed and acknowledged by the community of faith. The church facilities are available to couples who agree to follow our wedding policies. Pastors of House of Hope will preside at all ceremonies.

Note: HOH will not schedule weddings on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday of a holiday weekend; or the week of a major holiday. (Christmas, New Year, Easter, July 4, Thanksgiving, Memorial and Labor Days, M.L.K. Jr. Day, etc.)

Memorial and Funeral Services

House of Hope supports individuals and families through all of life’s transitions, including the death of a loved one. The church facilities are available to all members of the congregation for memorial or funeral services. Pastors of House of Hope will preside at all services. Receptions can be arranged for House of Hope members.

Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden provides a space for House of Hope members to remember their loved ones in a place where their cremated remains have been interred. The Memorial Garden in the Garth is a reminder of preceding generations and a sacred place for contemplation. The Garth is also a place for gathering, a connection between those who have departed and those living today.

To reserve a space for interment in the Memorial Garden, please contact the Director of Administration Michelle Freyholtz or call (651) 223-7556.

Baptism

Baptism is a sacrament of entrance into the community of faith. House of Hope celebrates many infant and child baptisms, as parents declare their intention to raise their children as followers of Christ. We also celebrate occasional adult baptisms, as individuals profess their Christian faith.

To have a child baptized at House of Hope, please attend a baptism class and orientation session. Contact Jimmy Hoke or call (651) 223-7547 to register and schedule a baptism.
