Economic warfare refers to the ways in which nations seek to dominate others by means other than military conflict. The presentation will address the history and role of economic warfare, including sanctions, immigration policy, blockades, shipping limitations, and attempts to limit the availability of food and other resources. While economic warfare is an alternative to direct killing, each action does have secondary implications, and some limits prove to be limited in their impact. 

Todd Jeffery Lefko is President of the International Business Development Company, an import-export firm. He has worked in Russia for 35 years.
