Stewardship at House of Hope

Because of your support, lives are being transformed through the ministries of The House of Hope Presbyterian Church. Our endowment covers about 37% of our annual budget, but it’s your generosity that keeps our mission thriving and growing in the community. Together, we are bringing hope and making a lasting impact.

Why Pledge?

Pledges help us plan.

Our fundraising goal for 2026 is $1,550,000. When you make a financial commitment now, we can confidently move forward with our mission: to serve God by serving our members, our community, and the world. Your generosity doesn’t just sustain a church — it builds hope.

We invite you to join the individuals and families who support the mission and ministry of House of Hope. Reaching this goal will enable us to fully fund our music, children, youth and family programs, church life ministries, and continue our Community Action giving.

Thank you to those who have already made a pledge for 2026!

A letter from our Senior Pastor and Head of Staff, Rev. Dr. Scott Jones

Dear Friends,

What a joy the last five months have been for me as I began my tenure as your Senior Pastor. And among the many delights has been watching the ways in which House of Hope is engaged in God’s good work of ministering to one another and to the wider community. I watched congregants supporting a member when his beloved spouse died. I saw volunteers welcoming neighbors at National Night Out. I’ve been inspired and filled with awe listening to the choir on Sunday mornings. I was overwhelmed by the joy and enthusiasm of everyone, but especially the children, on Rally Sunday. I saw all the hard work by the staff in carrying out the big weekend of the Renée Fleming residency. I saw people come together in concern, prayer, and action in response to the violence of this summer. And in recent weeks, if you’ve been in our building in the evenings, you’ve seen our campus host hundreds of people for their choirs, orchestras, support groups, and more.

Our congregation is warm, welcoming, and energized, and the ministries we share are reaching out to the neighborhood and community, expanding our horizons and making deep connections. As you prayerfully consider your pledge for 2026, know that you are investing in the good work God is doing here, and the results are tangible.

Peace,
Scott
