Community Garden

Launched in 2011, House of Hope’s mission is to respond to the deep need of hunger in our community. Dedicated volunteers from our congregation and the community plant, maintain, and harvest vegetables to help feed hungry families in St. Paul. Each year we donate more than 1,000 pounds of fresh produce to Neighborhood House and Hallie Q. Brown Community Center.

The garden includes favorites like strawberries, lettuce, cabbage, green beans, carrots, broccoli, and squash as well as specific requests of the food pantries we support. In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the garden, House of Hope is hosting a Garden Party on August 25, at 5 p.m.
