House of Hope Children and Families

This season of uncertainty has left us feeling anxious as a society. Our little ones hear our concerns, experience the disruption in routine, and miss their friends. Although we cannot change our circumstances, we can be here for one another. Here are ways the House of Hope is resourcing families to offer a sense of normalcy, connection, and creativity both online and offline.

Throughout the month of April, House of Hope children and families are invited to:

  • Join us for our first annual House of Hope Read-a-Thon. One winner will be chosen in each Sunday school class from Nursery – Grade 5.
  • Take on the weekly S.T.E.M. & Art Challenge. Kids are welcome to share pictures and videos of their creations!
  • Create a video based on the theme of our weekly Imagination “How To…” Challenge.
  • Watch our weekly storytime videos, created by Kiera and her daughter, Leila.
  • Participate in the weekly Family Spiritual Practice, which is available via email.

Kids and families are meeting together weekly via Zoom.

  • Family Worship with Sofia & Kiera on Sundays at 11:15 a.m. (all ages)
  • S.T.E.M. & Art Challenges on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. (Kindergarten – Grade 5)
  • Silly Songs & Live Storytime on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. (Nursery – PreK)

To participate in or receive these resources, contact Kiera Stegall at KieraS@hohchurch.org or join the “House of Hope Parents” Facebook page.
