During Sunday School, children will be introduced to teachers, each other, and kick off the year with some community building together.
Teacher Training and Curriculum Notes
Want to have fun and help our children grow in their faith and build church community? Volunteer to teach Sunday School! Studies show that meaningful relationships with volunteer teachers are critical for helping children grow and stay in church, and it helps adults continue to develop their own faith and make meaningful, cross-generational relationships with children and families.
Sunday School Teacher Training Saturday, September 14
9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Third Grade Bible Classes and Presentation
We will present Bibles to third graders in worship on Sunday, October 6, World Communion Sunday. Invitations will be sent to 3rd graders to attend Bible Classes to help them learn how to engage their new Bibles.
Bible classes will take place on September 22 and 29 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with lunch from Chipotle!
Tween Night at Can Can Wonderland Fourth and Fifth Graders
Friday, September 13 | 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Tween events are typically held on the second Friday of each month, usually from 5:30 – 7 p.m. during school year.
Worship
Children are always welcome in the Sanctuary. Children’s Bibles are in the pews. Children’s bulletins and crayons are available at all Sanctuary entrances.
Nursing & Diapering
Caring for children’s needs is one way we share God’s love. Changing tables are available in the Assembly Room and most bathrooms. Parents are welcome to nurse and feed their children wherever they are most comfortable.
