Children and Family Ministries

New Children and Family Ministry Policy:

  • Parents are required to sign-in their kids for nursery or Sunday school (before service or after the children’s blessing).
  • Parents are required to sign-out their kids from nursery or Sunday school after worship.
  • Bring a photo ID to show to nursery and Sunday school leaders when you sign-out.
  • We appreciate your understanding as we ensure the safety of our kids.

Sunday Morning Ministries:

Early Childhood Ministry:  Nursery – Preschool | Assembly Room | 9:45 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Our nursery and preschool-age children are invited to join Lelia Ellison and Ava Mayer for our Early Childhood Ministry, where children will engage with stories, listen to music, and play with age-appropriate toys.

Elementary Sunday School | Assembly Room | 10:10 a.m.
Elementary-age children are invited to join us for a multi-age Bible storytelling experience, prayer, and group games. Children will also enjoy art-making, age-appropriate activities, and games, as they build community through play.

Creative Play
Grades 2 – 5 | HOH Park and Assembly Room | 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Children are invited to enjoy supervised play at the House of Hope playground after worship. This will be offered until mid-fall when Creative Expressions, an arts-based program after worship and Sunday school, will begin. Watch for updates.

Third Grade Bible Class
October 8 and 15 | Library | 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Third graders are invited to join us for a two-part Bible class. We will learn about the types of literature in the Bible, explore oral and written traditions, and practice navigation skills.

More Information about our Children and Family Ministries:

Worship & Wiggles
Children are always welcome in the Sanctuary. Children’s Bibles are in the pews. Children’s bulletins and crayons are available at all Sanctuary entrances. For those who desire a wiggle break, the Library is equipped with toys, puzzles, books, and livestream worship.

Nursing & Diapering
Caring for children’s needs is one way we share God’s love. Changing tables are available in the Assembly Room and most bathrooms. Parents are welcome to nurse and feed their children wherever they are most comfortable.
