People flourish when we are encouraged and enabled to be and to become our whole best selves, to fulfill our potential, to contribute effectively to the well-being of others and to society more broadly, and to live joyful, meaningful lives that make a difference and leave a legacy.” So writes theologian Amanda Udis-Kesler. These ideas will be shaping our worship this Lenten season as we explore Paul’s letter to the Philippians.

Midday Lenten Prayer Services Beginning Wednesday, February 25, House of Hope will offer a short, contemplative prayer service in the Elizabeth Chapel. Led by clergy, Scripture reading, prayers, bells, and silence will invite us to ground and center ourselves in this season of renewing practice and deepening wisdom. Rather than giving something up this Lent, consider trying out this liturgy as a new spiritual practice. |
Holy Week 2026 Schedule
During Holy Week, we hear the fullness of Christ’s passion, his death, and resurrection. From Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and on to the Triduum (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday), all of Holy Week focuses on the passion. As his followers, we travel Christ’s path of servanthood through the Lord’s Supper and the suffering of the cross toward the glory of Easter, all of which underscores the inseparable link between the death and resurrection of Jesus.
