GIVING AT HOUSE OF HOPE

Food is more than a meal. It is health, stability, hospitality, and the reassurance that a family will have what it needs today.

Through the Food Pantry Fund, House of Hope shares every gift equally with Hallie Q. Brown Community Center and Neighborhood House—two trusted Saint Paul organizations making healthy, nourishing food available to neighbors with care and dignity.

Bring food for our neighbors

The first Sunday of each month is Food Pantry Sunday. Bring non-perishable groceries to the collection carts by the Elizabeth Chapel or at the Narthex entrance. Congregational food donations support neighboring food pantries.

You can also make a financial gift through the Food Pantry Fund above, supporting Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf and Neighborhood House Food Support.

For current food needs or help getting involved, email Mission@hohchurch.org.

One Gift. Two Trusted Neighbors.

Your gift is divided equally between two community partners with deep roots in Saint Paul. Together, they offer practical food support that respects the varied needs, cultures, and circumstances of the people they serve.

Hallie Q. Brown Community Center

Hallie Q. Brown Community Center’s Food Shelf uses a neighbor-choice approach, preparing groceries with attention to each household’s dietary needs, cultural preferences, and circumstances. The goal is not simply to distribute food, but to offer a thoughtful and welcoming experience for every neighbor.

Neighborhood House

Neighborhood House provides free food markets, fresh-produce distribution events, and related food-support services. Its work is grounded in the conviction that everyone should have access to healthy, nutritious, culturally appropriate food.
