Change of View: Sabbatical Photographs of Rev. Dr. Julia Carlson

Author Mark Nepo wrote, “To journey without being changed is to be a nomad. To change without journeying is to be a chameleon. To journey and to be transformed by the journey is to be a pilgrim.” My sabbatical travel time became a pilgrimage and a soul journey. The Arts Committee asked me to share some photos, and I have selected a collection that is centered around cathedrals in Bath, Edinburgh, Lindesfarne, Rosslyn, and London. Between these great places of worship were bookstores, museums, sunny days, gardens, and other delights. I am so grateful for this journey and grateful to have the opportunity to share it with House of Hope.
