She is often on 830 WCCO radio’s Smart Gardens on Saturdays at 8 a.m. She manages the Grass Collection at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and is the author of The 10 Plants That Changed Minnesota. She is a professor emeritus from the University of Minnesota’s Department of Horticultural Science.
