Summer Internship for Curriculum Development: Children and Family Ministry

The House of Hope Presbyterian Church seeks a college-age intern who will develop skills in curriculum writing for churches and ministry work with children and families and assist our Faith Formation team with developing a year-long framework for LGBTIA2Q+-centered Sunday School programming and implementing summer programming. The Curriculum Intern will work closely with Dr. Jimmy Hoke, Director of Children and Family Ministry, to write age appropriate lessons for volunteer instructors, develop innovative, responsible, and justice-oriented approaches to scripture, and create relevant, engaging activities that bring to life curricular learning goals. House of Hope is committed to mentoring interns and offering a space for them to explore questions of vocation and develop skills that are relevant and applicable to their future careers. In addition, we expect interns will contribute to the life and ministry of our congregation and help us live into our mission by working with our children, families, and staff.
