Traditional Presbyterian worship services at The House of Hope are memorable, uplifting, and to the glory of God. The gothic surroundings of the sanctuary house the massive C. B. Fisk organ, Opus 78. This grand instrument, with 97 ranks of pipes and 63 stops, delivers powerful music at the hands of accomplished organist Aaron David Miller. Within this reverent setting, rich with traditional symbolism of the Christian church, inspiring and deeply thoughtful sermons are delivered by The House of Hope ministerial staff. A weekly "time for children" speaks to all ages. The House of Hope choir, under the direction of Choirmaster Andrew Altenbach, provides choral music at the Sunday morning worship service. Beginning September 7, there will be two Sunday worship services: 8:15 in the Elizabeth Chapel and 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. There is one worship service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the summer months. Visitors are encouraged to attend one of the city's most remarkable worship services at The House of Hope Presbyterian Church, where all are welcome.
