Goal:
The goal of Programs for Women is to provide opportunities for women to gather in a variety of settings for study,
reflection, service and community.
Programs for Women at House of Hope Presbyterian Church
Programs focus on many areas of women's life through lectures, workshops, an annual retreat and special occasions like the annual Advent Breakfast. During Advent and Lent, Bible studies focus on appropriate scriptures. Women are welcome to attend any or all of the events and are encouraged to bring friends. Contact Darlene Auger Stensby at 651-223-7544 for more information on these events.
Soup Suppers
Enjoy a light supper and program seven times per year (October-April on the third Tuesday), 6 to 8 p.m. in the Kirk Parlour. Cost $10. Reservations 651-227-6311.
Women's Breakfast Group
This group meets year round on Friday mornings from 7 to 8 a.m. in the Kirk Parlour to provide community, deepen friendships, eat a healthy breakfast and enjoy lively, provocative discussions of assigned reading. It is not necessary to have read the weekly selection to attend the meeting. Just come and enjoy! No reservations needed. For more information, call 651-227-6311.
The Breakfast Group sponsors an annual Advent Breakfast open to all women, whether or not they regularly attend the weekly breakfast meeting. Full details on program, cost and location are announced in the fall.
