SEPTEMBER 11 SERVICES AT HOUSE OF HOPE

Community invited to a service of commemoration

St. Paul, MN. . . . August 23, 2002. . . . The public is invited to attend a worship service on Wednesday, September 11, 2002, at 6:30 p.m., in the main sanctuary at The House of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Paul. The service, marking the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington, D.C., will consist of prayers, scriptures, hymns and reflections on the meaning of the tragedy for our world and how people of all faiths can respond as they seek to be builders of a just and lasting peace. The service will take the place of the mid-week worship service normally held in the Elizabeth Chapel.

The House of Hope Presbyterian Church is located at 797 Summit Avenue at Avon Street in St. Paul. Parking is available in a lot immediately north of the church on Portland Avenue, or in the lot on the south side of Summit Avenue across from the church.
