Press ReleaseThe House of Hope Presbyterian Church MIDWEEK SUMMER WORSHIP AT THE HOUSE OF HOPE St. Paul, MN . . . June 28, 2002 . . . The midweek summer worship service at The House of Hope now includes weekly communion, and is followed by a light supper and a time of fellowship. The service begins at 5:30 p.m., each Wednesday evening, in the Elizabeth Chapel. The first Wednesday of the month will continue to be the service for healing and wholeness, and will include individual prayer and the laying on of hands and anointing with oil for those who choose. Following the service, participants are invited to the Kirk Parlour for a light supper of soup or salad and bread, and a time of fellowship. There is no charge for the supper, but a free-will offering will be received to cover the cost of the meal. Both the worship service and the supper are open to the public. The Elizabeth Chapel and the Kirk Parlour are accessible from the Portland Avenue entrances on the north side of the church. Parking is available in the lot across from the church on Portland. Regular Sunday morning worship services in the sanctuary are at 10:00 a.m. through the Labor Day weekend. For further information, contact |
