Day camp opportunities and summer programming open for children of all ages
St. Paul, MN . . . June 5, 2003 . . . The House of Hope Presbyterian Church is offering summer programs for children from ages 3 through fifth grade, which are open the public. Registrations are now being taken for the Wednesday program and the day camp in August. WOW or "God's World of Wonder," is for younger children, ages 3 (by June 1) through completed kindergarten, and happens on Wednesday, June 11, 18 and 25, and August 6 and 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Participants may register for one or all five of the sessions. Each morning has its own theme and activities specific to that day's program. Activities will include Bible stories, art projects, science activities, music, play time, snacks and computer time. Space is limited to 12 children per room. The cost is $12.00 per child per Wednesday. The week-long day camp for children who have completed grades 1 through 5 is scheduled for August 18 through 22. Participants may sign up for either morning or afternoon programs, or for the all-day option. The cost for the week, for the morning only is $40, afternoon only $45, and all day $85. Morning program options include "Return to Narnia," and the "Center Stage Drama Camp." Afternoon program options include "Afternoon Adventure Camp: Under Construction," and "Kung Fu Too!"
