The House of Hope Choir School

The House of Hope Choir School is one of the area's finest and most unique children's and youth choir programs. Open to all boys and girls of the entire Twin Cities community regardless of religious affiliation, the Choir School offers students of all ages, levels of musical experience, and walks of life an exceptional opportunity to sing, learn, and dine together in an engaging atmosphere that encourages excellence, character development, and spiritual growth. Previous musical experience is not required, nor is there an audition; the only requirements for participation are a desire to learn and the ability to keep a commitment.

The choir school has recorded and toured regionally, to Puerto Rico, Denmark and England. In June 2008, the choir succesfully toured Neuss and Colgne Germany.

About The Program

Choir School choral ensembles include:

Alleluia Choir Age 3 - Grade 1

St. Cecilia Choir Grades 2 and 3

St. Nicholas Choir grades 4-12, treble voices

St. Andrew Singers - Ensemble for boys, grades 7- 12

Girls Vocal Ensemble auditioned ensemble for girls, grades 7 - 12

About The Faculty

The Choir School faculty is comprised of highly qualified musicians from the Twin Cities area. Each faculty member is chosen not only for musical expertise but also for the ability to impart musical concepts to young choristers in a dynamic and engaging manner.
