The House of Hope Presbyterian Church has a longstanding tradition of exploring and celebrating God's glory through music, art, and intellectually challenging sermons. The church recently commemorated its 150th anniversary by commissioning artist Daryl Smith of Seattle, Washington to create "The Spirit of Hope," a stunning bronze sculpture mounted on a plinth of Rockville White granite. Located on historic Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota, the House of Hope's programs in learning, fellowship and service extend the reach of the church into the broader community. The House of Hope is also internationally known for its Fisk organ, a landmark of late 20th-Century organ building in America. With two services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings throughout much of the year (and 10 a.m. during summer months), the church welcomes visitors of all backgrounds and ages. Services include a Time For Children (9 a.m. service only), which is followed by church school during the service times. Adult education is held between services, September through May. "Music at Four" is a concert series offered many Sunday afternoons.
